On 2 April 2025, Limpopo celebrated innovation, resilience and entrepreneurship as the province’s standout small, micro and medium-sized enterprises (SMME) were honoured at the 2025 Limpopo Business Awards. The event, a joint effort by the Limpopo Provincial Government and Standard Bank South Africa, spotlighted game-changing businesses making an impact on the local economy.

Recognising Limpopo’s leading entrepreneurs
This year’s finalists spanned a wide range of sectors, from health and agriculture to manufacturing and logistics. Here is the list of winners:
- Health and Wellness: Molecular Imaging Therapy
Founded by Dr Ntanganedzeni Muambadzi, a nuclear medicine specialist, this pioneering positron emission tomography (PET) / computed tomography (CT) facility is the first black-woman-owned centre in the world, improving access to critical diagnosis.
- Transport and Logistics: Trash Converters
Based in Makhado and led by Rotondwa Musitha, this company manages hazardous waste while creating jobs and championing environmental sustainability.
- Manufacturing: The Real Makoya Cleaning Chemicals
Founded by Lebogang Moloto, this eco-conscious brand provides inclusive job opportunities and innovative cleaning solutions and was the first Limpopo-based supplier in the Shoprite Supplier Development Programme.
- Agriculture: Gadifele Poultry House
Tshegofatso Tjale‘s agribusiness tackles food insecurity and unemployment in Tshilamba through pig farming, crop production and youth mentorship.
- Education and training: Bolobathaba Media Group
Founded by award-winning filmmaker and social entrepreneur Molatelo Bossman, Bolobathaba empowers rural youth through professional training in filmmaking and digital storytelling.
- Mining: Twothy Business Solutions
Led by seasoned boilermaker Malema Dorothy Moyo, this Mokopane-based company delivers engineering services and accredited portable skills training.
- Tourism: Xclusive Spot Restaurant
More than just a restaurant, this Seshego-based venue run by Mashapa Malema blends food, entertainment and a car wash to create a vibrant cultural hub.
